I had a dream that I was hanging out with The Kills, with the lovely Alison Mosshart and dashing Jamie Hince. In the dream all of us were driving around some unrecognizable city, possibly San Francisco. Maybe Los Angeles or New York. Either way, we were looking for some swanky club to hang out at. The dream didn’t last long needless to say. Someday, I’ll get to meet you two.

This photograph is supposedly “debunked” since this picture was not literally taken during the December 7th, 1941 Pearl Habor attack. However, it was taken shortly after the attack as these are real US civilian women of the early 20th century at Pearl Harbor in fire fight training. The article undermines the fact that this is still an american historical and cultural artifact that shows the racial and ethnic diversity of the women in the photograph working together towards a common goal. It is truly aspiring.
